Transgender Day of Remembrance
Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. The Transgender Day of Remembrance was set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. It is very important that we continue to fight violence in our community. Please take a moment to check out the DOR website. http://www.gender.org/remember/day/what.html. Sometimes that Violence is access to quality, competent healthcare.
I hope you will join me in remembering those people we have lost.
"I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary, the evil it does is permanent."
~~Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
